Teroldego – Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT Bio

Caratteristiche

Grape variety

Teroldego, autochthonous red grape variety of Trentino. It’s believed the name derives from the German "Tirole Gold" (the gold of Tyrol).

Vineyards

from the vineyards of Az Agr Toblino Bio Certified located at the bottom of the Valle dei Laghi, with alluvial soils containing granite debris from the Brenta and Adamello Dolomites. The land benefits from a mild and airy microclimate thanks to the breeze named "Ora del Garda" and the surrounding high rock faces that absorb and retain the sun's heat.

Vinification & Aging

after crushing-destemming, maceration and fermentation takes place in contact with the skins at a controlled temperature for over 10 days. Subsequently, the wine is aged for at least 12 months in large oak barrels.

Organoleptic characteristics

ruby red in color with distinct violet rims. The nose is clean with fruity hints of raspberry and wild berries. On the palate, it reveals a full, structured body, dry with balanced tannins and a pleasant finish.

Tasting & Pairing

to be served preferably in large glasses at a temperature of 16-18 ° C. Simply perfect with meat dishes, but it can also be paired with tasty first courses and tasty cheeses.
