Caratteristiche

Grape variety

Nosiola is the only native white grape variety of Trentino, used to produce dry white wines and the sought after "Passito dei Passiti", or the Vino Santo Trentino DOC.

Vineyards

the grapes grow among the best exposed vineyards of the Valle dei Laghi near Castel Toblino. The unique composition of the soils, dry and rich in gravel, together with the incessant presence of a gentle wind, called "Ora del Garda", help to give these grapes unique and inimitable characteristics.

Vinification & Aging

after crushing and destemming, the traditional white vinification takes place with soft pressing, short cold maceration on the skins and fermentation at a controlled temperature. A few months of aging in stainless steel follow.

Organoleptic characteristics

a pale straw yellow with distinctive greenish hues. Nosiola has a delicate fruity aroma with a soft hint of freshly picked hazelnuts. Dry and pleasantly fresh on the palate, with a slight aromatic note.

Tasting & Pairing

due to its delicate structure, Nosiola should be tasted when still young at a temperature of 8-10 ° C in medium-sized glasses. Always perfect as an aperitif and accompanied with freshwater fish, vegetables and white meats.
